Cruz’s Comeback from Injury

Cruz joined Bay City Gym just one month ago with a clear goal in mind — to overcome an injury, rebuild his strength, and prepare for entry into the police force. When he first walked through our doors, he was unable to complete a single push-up. Today, he has progressed to performing 23 push-ups with great form, showing just how powerful dedication and consistency can be.

His progress does not stop there. Cruz has also increased his overhead press from 6 kg to 18 kg in just a few short weeks, a remarkable achievement that highlights his commitment to training and continuous improvement. His drive to return stronger than before is evident in every session.

A naturally active and competitive person, Cruz also brings this energy to the rugby field, where he continues to push himself and apply his growing strength and fitness.

Cruz’s journey is a testament to resilience, hard work, and the results that come from showing up with purpose. We are proud to support him on his path and cannot wait to see what he achieves next as he continues working towards his goal of joining the police force.
