When James first joined Bay City Gym four years ago, he had one clear goal: to build muscle and get stronger. Since then, his dedication and consistency have paid off in a big way. James has gained an impressive 12 kg of muscle, proving that steady progress leads to incredible results.
His strength numbers speak for themselves. James has doubled his bench press from 50 kg to 100 kg, and his back squat now tops 100 kg with perfect form. These milestones are a testament to his commitment and the effort he brings to every workout.
But James’ journey is not just about the weights. This year, he has set his sights on a new challenge, the Taupo Half Marathon. Balancing strength training while preparing for endurance running is no easy task, yet James is determined to push his limits even further. On top of that, his love of golf benefits from his gym work too, with greater strength, stamina, and power in every swing.
What drives James? His personal mantra: “Stronger every day, fitter every step.”
