Laurens goal when she joined Bay City Gym was to follow her interest in power lifting and weight lifting. She has been with personal trainer, Bysshe Blackburn since she became a member and she says that he has helped her so much with creating her a periodisation program that keeps her on track and helps her to hit her targets.

She is training for her first novice powerlifting competition with her overall goal to increase strength and muscle.

She loves the variety of weights at Bay City Gym with her favorite equipment being the power rack and comp bench.

Lauren is an inspiration as she is so regular and disciplined in her training
